Our story

RAYA Home was inspired by my parents, avid tea drinkers. At home, we always had one -it looked like an elongated thermos, with a wider middle section and a narrow opening on top, that would hold a ceramic teapot. As it was always a part of my home life, making tea in a samovar was a regular routine. The ceramic teapot, was used to brew a tea concentrate, while the lower part boiled water to be later fused together for the perfect glass of hot darjeeling and earl grey tea. That was there preferred recipe. 

My father started a gift boutique in the heart of Los Angeles, in 2009. Together, we were first to offer an extensive samovar collection online and ship nationwide. 

Inspired by him, I ventured to expand the collection for the next generation,with a more modern look with improved functionality. With loads (!) of input from my family, I launched the RAYA Glass Tea Maker in 2017.
